Full Review:
Building is sitting on gold mine location near midtown, upper west side and Central Park. The complex/mall next door is the place to be, with tier 1 restaurants like Masa and Per Se, the Mandarin Oriental hotel (most expensive room in the city at $16K per night), and condos at $2100 per square foot. At just over $1000 per square foot, 30 W. 60th is priced right for prudent investors. The lobby is plain, and the hallways are scheduled to be renovated over the next 2 years, but the building has nice thick walls so you can sleep when you need it, a huge 2 1/2 acre private garden, decent financials, friendly residents and doormen, reasonable maintenance and a reasonably priced garage. Great place/investment for an affluent single woman or man who wants to really enjoy the city, but without throwing away millions. This Co-op Building is Best for:
Six-Figure Worker Bees: VP’s, Directors and Chiefs of Finance, Media, Fashion, etc.
